Jimmy Fallon has reportedly apologize for his behaviour behind the scenes of The Tonight Show, according to Rolling Stone.

In a report published 7 August by Rolling Stone titled ‘Chaos, Comedy, and ‘Crying Rooms’: Inside Jimmy Fallon’s ‘Tonight Show’’, it’s alleged that “sixteen current and former staffers say Fallon’s erratic behaviour spoiled their “dream” of working on The Tonight Show.”

These staffers occupied a range of positions, including production crew, writers, and office work, and all requested anonymity. One of them stated: "Mentally, I was in the lowest place of my life. I didn't want to live anymore. I thought about taking my own life all the time.”

Fallon has since attempted to clear the air by issuing a mea culpa through a group call. According to a recent article by Deadline, the host of NBC’s late night talk show is alleged to have said, “I’m sorry if I embarrassed you. I never set out to create that type of atmosphere at the show. I think sometimes I’m working with the best of the best, you guys are the top of the game.”

While the fate of The Tonight Show is unclear at this point, it’s not the only controversy in TV land this week. Here’s more on the Rotten Tomatoes reviews scandal.
