Jimmy Kimmel Tricks Fans With Photo of 'Best Friends' Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan in Capri
Jimmy Kimmel is enjoying summer in the best way possible: by traveling, eating, and, apparently, singing with his best buds—or so he'd like you to think.
The late night talk show host took to Instagram on July 13 to share an image of a recent experience he had during a night out in Italy with some famous friends—some pretty notable ones, at that.
In the snapshot, Kimmel was joined for an evening dinner by the likes of basketball greats Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson, and apparently the hoop legends are two of his "best friends."
"Belting out showtunes [sic] with my best friends Michael Jordan & @MagicJohnson at the world-famous Da Paolino Ristorante in #Capri," the Jimmy Kimmel Live personality captioned the social media photo.
The crew appeared as jolly as ever while gathered around the dinner table, surrounded by what looked to be a singing group.

But before we get ahead of ourselves, it should be noted how amazing Kimmel's Photoshop skills are, because, in reality, the host wasn't even in the original pic!
You'd never know by the comment section of the upload, though, as celebrities poured in with jokes, making the whole scenario even more believable.
"As soon as you walked in everyone yelled ' JIMMY!!!!’ With such enthusiasm ?????? #Lifeoftheparty," Cedric the Entertainer added, while comedian Jeff Ross admitted he was "Jelly."
Someone else immediately caught on to the joke, writing, "All the photos he's posted....this is the most obvious photoshop! The others were suspect," in part, as another fan proclaimed, "I look forward to this series every summer so so good."
As it turns out, Johnson and Jordan are currently on a group trip together in Italy—just not with Kimmel.
The NBA hall-of-famers joined their wives Cookie Johnson and Yvette Jordan for a European getaway, joined by other star-studded couples Samuel L. Jackson and wife LaTanya Richardson Jackson, Judge Greg Mathis and wife Linda Reese Mathis, and John Palmer and wife Vicki Palmer, as evidenced by a few other (very real) photos shared by Magic on Instagram.
