Joanna Gaines Just Shared an Easy Recipe that Works for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Dessert on ‘Today’

Updated

It’s no secret that Joanna Gaines wears more than a few hats (read: Fixer Upper, Magnolia Market, motherhood, etc.). So when the Magnolia Table author shared an easy-to-make recipe on the Today show that’s as versatile as she is, we were hardly surprised.

On today’s episode of the hit morning show, the pregnant lifestyle maven whipped up her family-favorite JoJo’s biscuit recipe in her Waco, Texas, kitchen with some help from host Jenna Bush Hager. The best part? The recipe works for breakfast, lunch, dinner or dessert, so we know what we’re meal prepping this weekend.

Before Gaines and Bush Hager got to cooking, the HGTV star admitted that she was helpless in the kitchen until she had her fourth child and eating out became way too chaotic. (Leave it to Jo to make the transition from novice to cookbook author in a cool eight years.)

Now, Gaines finds cooking to be just as relaxing as some me-time. “The kitchen is a place for me to unwind,” she said.

Hey, with four (almost five) kids, you gotta get quiet time in where you can.
