Joanna Gaines Is Renovating J.Lo And A-Rod's New $6.6 Million Beach House
Jennifer Lopez and Fixer Upper host Joanna Gaines were spotted outside J.Lo's new home in Malibu on Sunday, most likely discussing potential renovations.
J.Lo previously revealed she is "obsessed" with Joanna's TV show.
Alex Rodriguez, J.Lo's boyfriend, hired Joanna as their architect as a surprise two-year anniversary gift.
If you ever got to spend the day hanging out with Jennifer Lopez at her new home in Malibu, you'd probably spend the whole time fangirling, right? Well, apparently, that's exactly how J.Lo feels about Fixer Upper's Joanna Gaines. (She's basically J.Lo to J.Lo.)
ICYMI, the World of Dance judge is a HUGE fan of the home improvement TV show. "I’m obsessed with Fixer Upper," she said on The Ellen Degeneres Show just last month. "So we [J.Lo and boyfriend A-Rod] actually got a little fixer upper next to the water," she continued, referencing the $6.6 million home the couple bought in Malibu (casual).
"…And I was like, 'Wouldn’t it be amazing, you know, to, like, have [Jonna] do it for us?.. And then, come our anniversary, [Alex] goes, 'Hey... I want you to do this meeting with us for this architect for the house.'" Not a fan of meetings (who is?), J.Lo really didn't want to deal with it, until Alex opened up FaceTime to reveal Joanna. J.Lo recalled screaming with excitement before chilling out enough to say "hi" to Joanna. "I totally fangirled out," she explained to Ellen.
And this past Sunday, it seems like all of J.Lo's home-improvement dreams finally became a reality. She and Joanna were spotted outside the power couple's new three-floor beach home, per TMZ.
While it's unconfirmed what they were doing there, it's likely they were discussing potential renovations to the home. And it's also likely that Joanna will have a lot of fun fixing up J-Rod's new lovenest. According to the publication, she's got four bedrooms, three and a quarter bathrooms, and a wraparound deck to redesign-all with a J.Lo and A-Rod-sized budget.
Oh, and she also gets to hang out with J.Lo as much as she wants, so she pretty much has the best job ever.
