Joanna Gaines Is Reopening Her Original Magnolia Shop And Having A Huge Sale To Celebrate
Before there was Magnolia Market at the Silos-complete with a bakery, food trucks, and a garden-there was the Little Shop on Bosque, Joanna Gaines' humble home goods store in Waco, where she says she "grew as a business owner, and gained much needed confidence."
On July 26, the former HGTV star is bringing back her beloved store, renamed Magnolia Warehouse Shop, for one month.
The pop-up shop will remain open every Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., until Saturday, Aug. 25.
The best part? The store will offer "exclusive last chance and slightly damaged items at a discount while supplies lasts," according to a press release provided to Country Living.
Chip and Jo purchased the property back in 2013, but closed it temporarily after their first two kids, Drake and Ella, were born. It was converted into office space for their construction business, Magnolia Homes, and in 2014, they reopened it as Magnolia Market.
The business quickly outgrew the small space, and they relocated to the Silos, an abandoned old grain mill, which includes two huge grain silos and a 20,000-square-foot barn. Since it opened in 2015, the complex has turned into a major tourist destination.
In March 2018, Little Shop on Bosque reopened for a short time as Magnolia Warehouse Shop offering "last chance items" and slightly damaged products at a discount," according to a tweet from the brand. But was temporarily closed-until now.
A representative for the company says Chip and Jo have decided to "do it again and re-open for another month" starting July 26, with a "similar type of sale."
The Magnolia Warehouse Shop is located at 3801 Bosque Blvd.
