Joanna Gaines Reveals Her Pregnancy Cravings—and They're All Southern Classics!

It's the wee hours of the morning. You're hungry. You're pregnant. What's a gal to do?

For Joanna Gaines, her pregnancy food cravings show how fully the Kansas-native has embraced her adopted Texas home. Yesterday, the 'Fixer Upper' star gave fans a glimpse at her late-night hankerings with a candid instagram post. "Woke up this morning at 2:30 AM and was craving fruity pebbles, a pimento cheese sandwich, chicken spaghetti, deviled eggs, and ranch dressing," she began her caption. Hitting every major Southern food group—from pimento cheese to deviled eggs—we definitely wouldn't mind any of the above for a midnight snack.

Since she didn't have leftover casserole or kids' cereal boxes on hand, Jo opted for another Southern favorite: A batch of freshly-baked cookies. "With all the restaurant's final tastings, the cookbook (yes these cookies are in it!), and this pregnancy - I'm definitely growing at a record rate," she continues.

And boy, do these golden brown, chocolate chip cookies look good. Though, admittedly, a pimento cheese sandwich and Fruity Pebbles combo platter certainly intrigues our Southern palates. Maybe consider an addition to Magnolia Table's menu, Jo?
