Joanna Gaines Reveals Surprising Name of Baby #5 and Shares First Photos of Newborn!

It's been an exciting day for the Gaines family. Earlier today, Chip and Joanna Gaines welcomed their fifth baby into the world. Chip marked the happy occasion with a tweet, which, little did we know actually gave insight into the newborn's name.

Did you catch the subtle hint? If you missed the baby name clue, fret not, Joanna Gaines revealed the boy's name a few short hours later, making Chip's clever nod all the more obvious: Crew!

"Our baby boy, Crew Gaines, is here and we couldn’t be more in love. He made an unexpected (and speedy) entrance into the world two and a half weeks early - which is fitting given he was a sweet surprise from day one," Joanna Gaines captioned a carousel of instagram photos from the delivery room. "Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful."

A few minutes later, the mama-to-five followed up her first post with another heart-melting photo, this time, of her four older kids, ahem, crew — Duke, Drake, Ella Rose and Emmie Kay — eagerly waiting to meet their new brother. Interestingly, Crew is the first of the Gaines' sons to break the family tradition of having a name starting with the letter "D."

We can only wonder what kind of celebratory parade is in order around Waco tomorrow for the Gaines clan. Congratulations to the entire Crew!
