Jodie Turner-Smith is settling into newfound motherhood well. This past weekend, the Queen & Slim actress gave her Instagram followers an update on how life as a new parent is treating her.

Per a screenshot obtained by People, Turner-Smith posted a selfie to her Instagram Story, jokingly writing, "Mum = Milk factory till further notice." She also wore a black nursing bra and flaunted a new piece of gold jewelry by Ariel Gordon. The necklace simply reads parent in all caps.

Earlier this month, the actress welcomed her first child with husband Joshua Jackson. "Both mother and baby are happy and healthy," representatives for the couple confirmed to People at the time.

Turner-Smith has previously spoken about her excitement of becoming a mother. Posting an intimate pregnancy portrait to her Instagram account earlier this month, she defined mother as "a fantastic voyage that begins in wonder and transformation. >>>>> thank you @fancygomez for capturing a small piece of this portion of the journey. I will never forget how this felt and now won't soon forget how it looked ???? #FrankieMark #JodieByFrankieMark."

Jackson similarly spoke about impending fatherhood. In an interview with Good Morning America last month, he talked about the parenting advice his Little Fires Everywhere costars Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington gave him.

"Both of them were incredibly helpful, both in like, finding doctors, OBs, just resources of people to talk to, and then, frankly, just leading by example, because the both of them are not just actresses, but they run their own companies, they're both mothers, they've integrated their family life and their professional life in a way that seems very healthy," he said. "So just watching how they navigate all of that, because next time I got to work, I'm gonna be a daddy."
