John Stamos Explains Why He Was 'Angry' at the Olsen Twins
Apparently things haven't always been smooth sailing between John Stamos and his youngest Full House co-stars.
The Big Shot actor famously starred as Jesse Katsopolis, the uncle of Michelle Tanner, who was played by both Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen starting when they were infants.
But despite the camaraderie between Uncle Jesse and his niece(s), the dynamic trio apparently hit a rocky point in real-life years later, around the time when the whole cast was reuniting for the reboot, Fuller House.
Years after Full House stopped airing in 1995, most of the gang signed on for the 2016 Netflix spinoff, which was noticeably missing the Olsen twins.
Stamos admitted this week that he was temporarily "angry" with the Olsen twins at one point for not coming back for the reboot.
"We hadn’t really seen 'em much, I mean we stayed in touch with them a little bit, but Bob [Saget] really did, and they were so great," Stamos said in a new episode of the And That’s What You Really Missed podcast. "And they said all the things, probably what you guys got to hear, 'We loved it.'"

"Cause you hear rumors, you’d see, oh, they hated their childhood or they hated being on the show, or whatever," he continued. "And we’re just like, ‘Ok,'...And when I did Fuller House, they didn’t wanna come back, and I was angry for a minute and that got out."
However, the Grandfathered star assured that it's all water under the bridge now, explaining that he eventually reconnected with the Olsens, now 36.
"They’re just like, 'We loved you guys, we loved our childhood, we loved being with you,'" he recalled. "They came over to my house and they brought a porkchop and sage. I don’t know why, but thank you."
