JoJo Siwa Shuts Down Rumors Why 'Dance Moms' Reunion Features Incomplete Cast
JoJo Siwa
JoJo Siwa is clearing up some rumors after the announcement of a Dance Moms reunion left some fans puzzled.
The exciting news was shared via social media on Wednesday, Nov. 1, when the Dance Moms TV Instagram page shared a photo of six former stars of the Lifetime show to announce that they would be coming back for a special reunion event.
"?you heard it here first?" the caption of the post read. "the squad is officially back together for a #DanceMoms reunion coming 2024 only on @lifetimetv !! ???♀???."
But in the wake of the good news, fans were quick to point out that some key players were missing from the post namely Maddie Ziegler, Mackenzie Ziegler and Nia Sioux, all of whom were original cast members when the show started in 2011.
While users in the comments immediately began speculating as to why some of the cast members weren't included, Siwa, 20, took it upon herself to clear things up in the comments.
"Grateful for this day!" she began her message, before revealing, "For everyone wondering about the few people missing, Everyone was invited today but only some wanted to be here??."
Instead, the reunion will apparently only include Siwa, Chloe Lukasiak, Kendall Vertes, Kalani Hilliker and sisters Brooke and Paige Hyland.
But fans still aren't sure if there will be any more Dance Moms alums joining in for the event, which is slated for 2024.
"I’m just wondering if Abby will be there ??," one fan wrote, referring to the show's polarizing dance teacher and studio owner Abby Lee Miller.
Plus, it wouldn't be a Dance Moms reunion without the moms, of course, so fans are eager to see if Kelly Hyland, Christi Lukasiak, Jill Vertes, Jessalyn Siwa and Kira Girard will be making any appearances.
