Jon Hamm and *This* ‘Westworld’ Star Just Joined the ‘Top Gun’ Sequel

Updated

The Top Gun sequel is shaping up to be a star-studded event.

Jon Hamm (Mad Men), Ed Harris (Westworld) and Lewis Pullman (son of Bill Pullman) are the latest celebs to join the cast of Top Gun: Maverick. Although Paramount Pictures is keeping their roles a mystery, we’ll take what we can get.

Similar to the original film, which premiered in 1986, the sequel will focus on the fighter pilots, but this time, they’re coping with advancing drone technology. The movie also stars Tom Cruise (Mission: Impossible—Fallout), Val Kilmer (The Snowman), Miles Teller (Fantastic Four), Jennifer Connelly (Labyrinth) and Glen Powell (Hidden Figures).
