Julia Fox just wore a very Julia Fox-esque naked dress to the 2022 Bloomingdale's 150 x BAZAAR Icons party.

The Uncut Gems star made a dramatic fashion statement for her debut appearance at BAZAAR's annual party, which returned this year after a two year hiatus.

She stopped to talk to BAZAAR on her way into the party—but not before she ran to greet and take photos with a throng of fans waiting nearby the luxury retailer's flagship location.

She put her own personal spin on the classic red carpet naked dress; this one, designed by Joanna Pra?mo, appearing as a liquid, body-clinging minidress made of translucent material. She also divulges to BAZAAR that she had just made her cellophone-saran-wrap-ified handbag and platform knee-high heels just an hour before appearing at the event.

Fox is known for her unconventional and avant-garde red carpet style.

This past March, the actress appeared at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party in a head-to-toe black monochrome look, composed of a leather gown with a halter neckline featuring a sculptural clawed hand around her neck. She wore her signature black opera gloves and black pumps, and she carried a clutch made of real human hair.

In a previous interview with The Cut, Fox talked about eschewing the pressure to adhere to fashion norms.

"[Her publicity team was] like, 'Oh, they're a little too editorial,' 'It's too sexy. It's too provocative. It's too out there,'" Fox said. Now, however, she says her tune has changed. "I was just like, 'Okay, I guess I just have to be more Hollywood and more bland.' But fuck that narrative if I want to pop out and wear crazy shit—which is what I want to wear."
