I’m under the impression that one can never have too many shoes or bags. I’m okay with a small selection of jeans, tops, and even dresses, but shoes? Please. Stack them up in my tiny closet that is already overflowing with them. I don’t care. I have to have the latest flip-flop, that chic kitten heel, the cool sneaker, and I need at least three variations of each. What can I say, I’m living my best Carrie Bradshaw life… but with a much more modest budget and an appreciation for all brands, not just Manolo Blahniks.
Of course, in order to have a closet full of shoes, you have to be economical with when to splurge and when to save. Shoes made out of quality materials and unique designs deserve some extra spending. However, simple, everyday shoes and trends I simply want to test out can be bought straight off of Amazon. You’ll save a lot of money and you’ll get them super fast.

So, because I have summer plans filled to the brim (which I’m sure many of you do as well), I’m going the more-for-less route this season and stocking up on some cute and affordable shoes that can be swapped with every outfit as fast as I change my moods. When each shoe is less than $30, not a worry rests on my mind as I wear them through the streets, the beach, and any other adventure I haul myself through.

I’m sure you’ve heard the world, but flip-flops are in. And not in the I’m-heading-to-the-beach kind of way, but in a chic, elevated, brunch-after-business kind of way. I know it’s confusing, and who’s to say it’s going to last, but if this current wave of chic flip-flops goes out of style, you can always wear them as, well, regular flip-flops. This Amazon pair, made of a blend of faux leather and real leather, is only $20. As one shopper noted, “For being a thin sandal, they are very comfortable, have cushioning on the sole, and are super easy to wear and walk around in.”

An easy slip-on sandal that looks chic no matter how you style it is a summer shoe essential. This leather option is exactly that. You can wear it with a dress or denim shorts all the same, and it will instantly elevate the look. Shoppers are elated to find that they “are so cute and comfy and a great value for the price,” which is a reasonable $30 and for that, I’m considering buying two pairs.

These Birkenstock-esque sandals are pretty much as good as the originals, at least according to the over 60,000 happy ratings. You’ll find the arch support that Birkenstocks are well known for, as well as that soft cushioning and a vegan leather upper. It has been noted, however, that they run a bit small, so sizing up might help. With how comfortable they are, don’t be surprised if you find yourself wearing them day after day, even if you weren’t a Birkenstock stan before!

I feel like these are the sandals you see everyone wear on their vacations in Greece. There is something about their simplicity that looks elegant—and when worn with a white flowy skirt or a cute sundress, they simply scream summer vacation. They’re an off-brand version of the popular Hermès sandal and are sold for a tiny fraction of the price.

If you’re not ready to drop hundreds for a sandal (you know the one), then opt for this equally cute wide-strap style instead.
