What are Aldi Finds?
If you haven't jumped on the Aldi Find bandwagon yet, you might be wondering what all the fuss is about.
Every month, Aldi releases new specialty and seasonal products each Wednesday. These can include food, housewares, decor and more. Loyal shoppers know that these new items won't last, so they flock to their local Aldi bright and early on Wednesday morning.
Once inside the store, if you aren't sure where to find this treasure trove of deals, look for the center aisles with the Aldi Finds logo hanging above. Happy hunting!

What day is best to shop at Aldi?
That's easy, Wednesdays! Not only is it when they put out all the new merchandise, but it is also when the new weekly ad begins, so you will save some major cash too!
Here is a big tip for the upcoming weeks. Watch that weekly ad for their frozen turkeys to go on sale, usually less than one dollar per pound, for your Thanksgiving bird! I know I will be!

This month's best list is full of things that'll get you into a festive mood faster than Santa's reindeer!
1. Benton's Candy Cane Sandwich Cremes $2.69
Bring on all the candy canes and peppermint-flavored things! My favorite holiday flavor is well represented in this month's finds, and these chocolate cookies are just the first of a few chocolate-mint combos on this list. These are a great example of how Aldi's in-house brands are just as delicious as their name-brand counterparts.

2. Shamrock Farms Vanilla Spice Eggnog $3.99
Eggnog is one of the decisive foods that people either love or hate, with no in-betweens. I fall into the LOVE category and always have a jug in the fridge during the holidays. With the extra vanilla and cinnamon flavor, this one is a must-buy for me. Bonus: It's the perfect pairing for the cookies above.

3. Winternacht Pfeffernüsse $2.79
Don't feel bad if you can't pronounce the name of these little cookies, all you need to remember is that they are scrumptious! I had these iced gingerbread cookies for the first time last year, and had to go back for several more bags because apparently there's supposed to be more than one serving per package?!

4. Pacific Fruit Vineyards Sweet Cranberry Wine $3.99
Aldi fans already know about the store's vast, affordable wine selection, but they might not realize there are seasonal flavors in addition to the staple bottles. Cranberry doesn't have to go away after Turkey Day is over, it's a great flavor to include in your Christmas celebrations too. Pair this wine with holiday apps or make it into a super festive (and pretty) spritz or winter sangria.

6. Winternacht Panettone $5.99
Panettone is a traditional Italian sweet bread that's full of dried fruit. The fluffy loaf is a holiday staple and is tasty on its own or as the base for fantastic French toast or bread pudding. Aldi's panettone is made in Italy, so you know you're getting the real thing.

7. Specially Selected Red Pepper Spread $1.39
I couldn't get over the price of this red pepper jelly when I saw it! I have spent close to eight dollars for a jar at other stores. This sweet and spicy spread makes a great base for marinades, salad dressings and the quickest appetizer of your life! Put a block of softened cream cheese on a plate, pour this over the top and serve with some crackers. It's perfect for when those unexpected holiday guests drop by!

10. Emporium Selection Gourmet Cheese Spreads $3.49
Aldi has an extensive cheese selection every day of the year, but during the holidays they step up their game. There are so many varieties worthy of any celebration. I chose this one because spreadable cheeses are so easy and fuss-free. Plus it comes in different flavors like Peppercorn Parmesan, Sharp Cheddar, Garlic & Herb and one I can't wait to try, Horseradish & Cheddar, which would be great with crackers or on a leftover prime rib sandwich.

12. Specially Selected Caramel Stroopwafels $3.49
I had never heard of these until last winter. These Dutch-made waffle cookies have a gooey, buttery caramel filling. But here's is the best part: The proper way to eat a stroopwafel is to put the cookie on the top of your mug of hot tea or coffee for a few seconds. The heat from your drink warms the filling and makes it perfectly gooey and ready to enjoy.

13. Benton's Fudge Coated Peppermint Cremes $3.49
We all have our favorite Christmas cookies, and I think these just went to the top of my list. They're like a mash-up of an Oreo and a York Peppermint Patty. Santa would love these with his milk on Christmas Eve.
