You may have noticed that tie-dye was THE trend of summer 2019, and good news if you were all about it: The groovy pattern is back again this year. From street-style stars to the spring/summer ’20 runways, It! Is! Everywhere! Don’t believe me? Peruse the gallery below, why don’t ya?

And the trend doesn’t just stop at clothes. There are tie-dye hats, shoes, scrunchies, jewelry, scarves—the list goes on. Dare I say that it’s officially replaced florals as summer’s top print? Because honestly, I can’t shop online (or scroll through Insta) without seeing it pop up. And while you might think tie-dye fashion is on the casual side, there are different silhouettes and outfits with the pattern that look a bit more elevated, depending on the vibe you’re going for. So if tie-dye is calling your name, start shopping the below to sport these ’60s- and ’70s-inspired multicolored pieces.

Opt for the classic rainbow swirl with this long-sleeve tee. It also has a cute lettuce-edge trim to give it that extra nostalgic flare.

You have tons of traditional blue denim, so why not switch it up this season with a pair of bright-pink tie-dyed ones from Levi’s? Throw on a white tee or tank for a low-key look or pair it with another tie-dye top to really go for it.

Get in on the trend from your feet up! These bright socks are an easy way to add color to your staple white sneaks, and the ribbed material is so comfy, you won’t want to go without them.

Matching tie-dye sweatsuits have never been more in now that tons of people are working from home. You’ve seen ’em all over your IG feed, right?! This pink-and-navy set definitely stands out, whether you want a cute WFH ’fit or just something comfy to lounge in.

Frankie’s Bikinis has tons of tie-dye options, like this bright-blue high-waisted bikini. Even if you might not be hitting the beach anytime soon, if you have a backyard pool or a space to safely lay out a towel to get some sun, a colorful swimsuit is calling your name.

A dyed T-shirt looks a bit more edgy when it has graphics on the front and is paired with drawstring sweats and thick-soled kicks.

Ditch your stiff denim in favor of these statement flared pants. These will look killer with your white Converse, trust.

A mesh oversize tee is super versatile in warm weather: Wear it as a cover-up over a swimsuit or wear it over a bralette and denim shorts for a casual ’fit. Plus, the teal hue against the black is so striking in the best way.

Give your feet a tie-dye flare with these pastel-tone Vans. Since the hues are lighter, it’s a subtler way of getting on board, but the pattern will definitely transform any plain white kicks.

Livincool is known for its sweatsuits and off-duty model aesthetic (Emily Ratajkowski is a fan of the brand, if that’s any indication), and this pink tie-dye logo hoodie will give your old gray one a much-needed update.

Perhaps even more retro than a tie-dye pattern is a high-waisted silhouette. Combine the two and it makes for a really cute two-piece that’ll become your summer go-to.

Vans and designer Sandy Liang collaborated on the ultimate throwback collection, which includes this butterfly-adorned tie-dye tee. It even has a checkerboard pattern on the sleeves. Wear it with distressed jeans or cutoffs if it’s not yet warm enough for short sleeves and tank tops where you are.

Wow, this breezy tiered bright-blue maxi is dramatic yet casual at the same time. Dress it up with espadrille wedges or look more relaxed with flip-flops or sandals.

Wear a pair of aqua-and-black bike shorts like these to work out in or if you’re just being lazy on your couch. The stretchy material and high waist will feel ultra comfortable.

Apply this trend to your headwear! Bucket hats are back—and they’ll protect you from the sun too. This style has a larger brim for extra coverage, and the cute bright-pink pattern is just a bonus.

These fun scrunchies will keep your hair out of the way and add some color to your ’do at the same time. Your ponytails just got way more fun.

A longline bralette with the pattern is playful and stands out so much more than any beige or black one. Wear this one under a subtly see-through tee to show it off, or wear it with the matching boy shorts for a trendy lounge look.

If you’re more into the athleisure aesthetic these days, opt for a sporty crop top from Adidas. Wear it with trackpants, sweats, or leggings for a functional everyday outfit.

A mini skater skirt in tie-dye will be the focal point of any outfit. It looks just as good with sneaks as it does with heels or sandals, so it does double duty in your closet.

If you’re walking your dog, running quick errands, or spending all day on a Netflix marathon, a matching sweatsuit—esp one in these stunning hues—is a no-brainer.

Give your workout gear a trendy overhaul with a pair of shibori tie-dye leggings. These babies have a coordinating sports bra if you’re really into the whole matchy-matchy thing.
