Justin Bieber's pastor says it's 'fake news' that he quit his tour because of religion
Remember when Justin Bieber randomly canceled his Purpose world tour during the summer and fans blamed his passion for the Hillsong Church as the reason for its abrupt ending? Well, the singer’s pastor, Carl Lentz, stopped by The Morning Breath on Tuesday and dispelled rumors that the church was the root cause.
The 37-year-old said that “people are silly when it comes to fake news. … We had nothing to do with Justin canceling his tour.” He added that “after so much fake news hits the cycle, after a while, if you really want to believe that stuff, ya know, go ahead.”
