Justin Timberlake Brings Selfie Kid to Tears with a Surprise on ‘Ellen’

Justin Timberlake just made a dream come true (yet again) for Ryan McKenna (aka selfie kid).

McKenna stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show today to discuss the iconic selfie he snapped with Timberlake during the Super Bowl halftime show. However, the 13-year-old didn’t get a chance to meet the “Filthy” singer…until now.

In the clip, McKenna describes the moment he came face-to-face with Timberlake before DeGeneres reveals there’s someone on the phone who wants to speak with him.

You guessed it, Timberlake chimes in with a simple “Ryan,” and McKenna immediately becomes overwhelmed with emotion. After reliving the moment, the singer jokes that the selfie received more attention than his performance and then offers the opportunity of a lifetime.

Timberlake says, “I thought to myself, ‘I really want to meet you properly.’ I’m going to be coming to TD Garden on tour to play in Boston, so I would like to invite you and your family to come, and I want to meet you.”

Luckiest. Kid. Ever.
