Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel Make First Public Appearance After Britney Spears Memoir Drama
Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel
A few weeks after the release of Britney Spears' memoir The Woman in Me—which included claims about her relationship with Justin Timberlake that sparked a lot of backlash—the "Can't Stop The Feeling!" singer and his wife Jessica Biel made their first public appearance together.
The couple attended the Los Angeles premiere of Timberlake's film, Trolls: Band Together, on Wednesday, Nov. 15, with the voice actor wearing a black embellished jacket and sleek pants while Biel had on a black silk top and matching skirt with large sequins around the bottom half.
The other members of NSYNC were also at the premiere alongside Timberlake, as the band reunited for a new song for the film, called "Better Place." The members have small parts in the movie as well. While Timberlake plays one of the main characters Branch, Joey Fatone is Ablaze, JC Chasez is Hype, Lance Bass is Boom, and Chris Kirkpatrick is Trickee.
Also in the film, which is out on Nov. 17, are Anna Kendrick, Zooey Deschanel, Kevin Michael Richardson, Daveed Diggs and many more familiar names.
This is Timberlake and Biel's first major event since Spears' book came out, which alleged that, during Timberlake's relationship with the pop star between 1999 and 2002, she was once pregnant by the NSYNC member.
The memoir also claimed that Timberlake cheated on her with another celebrity and broke up via text message. Since the release, Timberlake hasn't publicly responded to the claims and ensuing backlash, although he and his wife turned off the comments on their social media.
NSYNC member Bass recently talked about the situation, sharing hope that people can forgive Timberlake for his past mistakes: "Everyone has their own opinion. I just feel like the world is so full of hate right now that we need to practice a little forgiveness. Britney did, so let's take a note from her."
