J.K Rowling can't stop laughing at Trump's typo, and she's not the only one. Yahoo commenters have their thoughts:
“He might not know how to spell or form proper sentences, but he sure knows how to PUSH BUTTONS!”
“‘Harry Potter’ isn’t exactly ‘The Great Gatsby’.”
The Harry Potter writer is under fire on Twitter for picking on President Trump after he sent out a grammatically incorrect tweet about his own writing prowess.
The tweet in question, which has since been deleted, read, “After having written many best selling books, and somewhat priding myself on my ability to write, it should be noted that the Fake News constantly likes to pour over my tweets looking for a mistake. I capitalize certain words for emphasis, not b/c they should be capitalized!”
The message had Rowling rolling on the floor with laughter over the president’s use of “pour over,” which means to send flowing or falling, instead of “pore over,” which means to study carefully.

In the same tweet thread, Rowling knocked Trump’s taking credit for his ghostwritten book and called the president the “Gratest Writer on earth” before he posted a corrected version of the tweet.

Fans of the president came to his aid, leaving their thoughts on Rowling’s original Twitter thread and in comments on Yahoo’s original story. Several commenters told the popular author to keep out of politics, with one writing, “wish she would stick to writing books and not politics. I don’t care what she thinks.”
Some didn’t … quite understand her joke: “She forgot to have an editor look at her tweet before posting. Lol,” one commenter wrote.

And a few Trump fans pointed out that Rowling’s books don’t start out perfectly edited either: “Exactly how many EDITORS did Rowling have to fix her books?”
But it wasn’t all negative vibes toward Rowling on Twitter — one fan commented with a marked-up version of Trump’s original tweet.

Another commenter wrote, “No seriously…this is just too perfect…I’m gonna have to pore myself another one and keep reading…LOL.”
What do you think? Should Rowling have kept her edit to herself?
