In a sign that fashion’s fascination for mountaineering style is still going strong, K-Way has unveiled a collaboration with hiking boot specialist Diemme.

The outdoorsy capsule collection features apparel and footwear, the latter modeled after Diemme’s signature Grappa Hiker design to match the ready-to-wear offering.

Among the key items in the apparel lineup: a padded vest with chevron quilting, a hooded windbreaker and parachute pants with cargo pockets. The captivating color palette is dominated by aubergine and khaki with zingy orange accents. The Diemme hiking sneakers come in coordinated colorways.

The collection — available at both brands’ e-commerce sites, as well as at select K-Way stores — is flanked by a dedicated ad campaign shot by Danish photographer Betty Krag. She followed friend Konrad Eilenberger on a city tour.

K-Way is not new to collaborations, having turned them into a pillar of its lifestyle ethos. Previous tie-ups included Saint Laurent, Fendi, Comme des Gar?ons Play, No. 21 and Dsquared2, among others.

In addition to the first collaboration with K-Way, Diemme renewed its partnership with Outerwear company Ten C, debuting a new style. The Anterselva boot is crafted from leather and the patented OJJ textile.

Modeled after Diemme’s Rosset hiking boot, it is available at about 45 retailers and both brands’ e-shops. This marks the second collaboration between the two labels, which last year unveiled a co-branded iteration of the Roccia Vet hiking boots.
