About The Shoes
Gerber completed her look with a pair of Celine’s Triomphe sandals. The black heels featured a leather upper that was composed of a strappy design along the almond toe. The ankle strap supported the height coming from the stiletto heel that was about 3 inches tall. The set retails for $1,150.
Recently, many stars have been gravitating towards strappy silhouettes like Demi Moore, Ashley Graham and Venus Williams, who brought out a pair from Le Silla to attend the “Challengers” premiere last month.
About Strappy Sandals
Many designers update their sandaled styles with a strappy design to bring a unique look to the silhouette. The style first became popular in the 90s when top labels like Versace and Calvin brought playful sets to the runway. Although each silhouette differentiates itself in an original way, most sets are completed by a narrow footbed and a stiletto heel. Strappy sandals have kept a consistent presence in the retail market, however, it gained heightened popularity after designers like Yves Saint Laurent brought the trend back for their spring 2019 collections.
