Miley Cyrus is currently living the single life alongside another recently separated star: Brody Jenner’s ex, Kaitlynn Carter. Cyrus and Carter have been photographed kissing and cuddling while relaxing in Lake Como, Italy, prompting Cyrus to announce that she and her husband of less than a year, Liam Hemsworth, have split up. Carter got engaged to Brody Jenner in during a 2016 trip to Indonesia and tied the knot there two years later. Sadly, a year later, the couple announced that they were separating. It was also reported that despite their marriage ceremony the couple never made the union official.
Carter became a character on the new iteration of the MTV series The Hills, which, according to a source, only intensified her relationship problems with Jenner.
“Brody and Kaitlynn have had issues for years. It is no secret amongst those who knew them. And the show was not good for them,” a source told People. “It got so bad that Kaitlynn had actually moved out before they started filming, but then moved back in. Doing The Hills magnified a lot of things in their marriage. And it became clear that it wasn’t going to work. They both knew it.”

Carter and Cyrus have reportedly been acting very flirty while on vacation, even posting photos of each other on Instagram. Carter posted one of her and Cyrus in swimsuits, which Jenner even commented on with “Hot girl summer.”
“They were not trying to hide it at all,” a source told Entertainment Tonight about the women’s Italian PDA. “There were other people sitting by the pool.”
“They were fully on a date, getting drinks, just the two of them. They even got a couple of massages at the hotel.”
Before announcing their split, Cyrus discussed her marriage and sexuality for her Elle cover story.
“I think it’s very confusing to people that I’m married. But my relationship is unique,” she said. “And I don’t know that I would ever publicly allow people in there because it’s so complex, and modern, and new that I don’t think we’re in a place where people would get it. I mean, do people really think that I’m at home in a fucking apron cooking dinner? I’m in a hetero relationship, but I still am very sexually attracted to women.”
