What Kaley Cuoco And Karl Cook’s Body Language Says About Their Relationship
Since making their relationship IG official in 2016, Kaley Cuoco has shared plenty of snuggly puppy-heavy photos of her and now hubby Karl Cook.
But, as usual, when a celebrity gets boo’d up, the people are left wanting more. Lillian Glass, Ph.D., a body language expert, came to the rescue and gave the lowdown on Kaley and Karl’s relationship.
Here’s what their body language is giving away:
They're actually really good friends. Aw!
Beyond being lovers, Glass says Kaley’s lean on Karl’s shoulder shows that the two are really good friends, too, and that's great for their relationship. In this moment, Karl is “attentive to her because he’s maintaining eye contact,” which is a sign of strong communication between the two.
But Kaley's body language might be more loving.
Kaley's looking at Karl so attentively and he's looking straight ahead, which Glass says means they’re not after the same things. But hey, Karl's not exactly a celeb, so maybe he was just blinded by the cameras?
Kaley is the one in charge.
Now, this looks like a sweet moment. But Glass says it shows that Kaley is “the aggressor in the relationship.” (Not necessarily a bad thing...) You might say Karl seems fine with it, though.
She takes the lead-literally and figuratively.
This rainy-day, probably-post-yoga stroll tells onlookers once again that Kaley is in charge, according to Glass. (Which might have something to do with the fact that she’s been an avid yogi since 2013).
Karl might be a tad...distracted.
Okay, first of all, sign me up for these NYC menswear vibes. Now, even though these two are walking in sync and smiling, Glass points out that Karl is looking at this phone, and “that’s not good.” (Tbh, been there, done that, though.)
They're pursuing different goals.
Yes, this body language is affectionate, but is it also a little disconnected? Yes, if you ask Glass. Kaley and Karl don’t have to be staring deeply into each other’s eyes, but the fact that their gazes are going in totally different directions clued Glass in on the fact that they’re not on the same page.
Awards show fatigue, relationship drama, or just a few too many glasses of wine? The world may never know.
