Kaley Cuoco and her partner Tom Pelphrey are happy and filled with love after the birth of their daughter Matilda.

But, like with anyone else, they have to go back to work at some point, and during her first red carpet event since Matilda was born, Cuoco had a special way of keeping her daughter close to her heart—literally.

On the red carpet, Cuoco stunned in a royal blue gown, but it was the accessory around her neck that had the most significance.

During the parents' first night out without their newborn, they were able to symbolically keep Matilda close to them the whole night.

Cuoco and Pelphrey's daughter is almost a month old, born on March 30. The two are ecstatic about their first baby together, sharing many of Matilda's firsts on social media, including her first meeting with Cuoco's horses.

The Hollywood event that the couple attended on April 26 was the premiere of Love & Death, a new HBO series starring Elizabeth Olsen. The show is based on the true story of a woman named Candy Montgomery who was accused of murdering her friend Betty Gore.

In the new HBO series, Olsen plays Montgomery, opposite Lily Rabe as Gore. Pelphrey also stars in the series, portraying a character named Don Crowder. The true crime story was also depicted in the 2022 Hulu series Candy, in which Jessica Biel played the title character.

Pelphrey is a rising star in Hollywood, giving a fantastic performance as Ben Davis in Ozark, along with recent roles in Mank, Outer Range, and She Said.

As for Cuoco, she starred in the hit HBO series The Flight Attendant, for which she was nominated for two Emmys, and next up, she will star alongside Connie Nielsen, Bill Nighy, and David Oyelowo in a thriller called Role Play.
