Kaley Cuoco's Boyfriend Tom Pelphrey Reveals How They're Adjusting to Parenthood

Tom Pelphrey is opening up about parenthood!
While promoting his new HBO Max series, Love & Death, the actor, 40, revealed how he and girlfriend Kaley Cuoco are adjusting to being new parents.
Pelphrey shared that his new baby girl, Matilda–whom the couple welcomed back in March–already has him wrapped around her finger, joking to Access Hollywood that Cuoco "is in charge of the discipline." And it sure seems like it as the actor could not stop gushing over his little girl!
"My heart was full," Pelphrey said of seeing Matilda for the first time in the hospital. "I was just so grateful she was obviously in one piece and healthy and it's a miracle."
He continued, "You're almost in a state of like happy shock, you know? And then you wake up the next morning and you're like 'Wait, it's real. Yeah, that's ours!'"
The Guiding Light actor revealed that fatherhood feels like second nature to him and that he's become a "master swaddler" and is "excellent" at changing diapers, noting, "I changed all the diapers in the hospital because it was like my excuse to steal her back. Someone else was holding her, she needs a diaper change, I'll do it, and then I'll just keep her."
Pelphrey went on to talk about Cuoco and how she is "so good" at being a mom. "You know, it's like all the qualities that I love about Kaley times a hundred. She's so funny and she's so nurturing and easy and playful and loving, I mean so loving, it's beautiful," he said of his girlfriend.
After taking time to adjust to parenthood, the two are due for a night out, and according to Pelphrey, they're making the Love & Death premiere on April 27 their first night out on the town!
Pelphrey and Cuoco first announced that they were expecting a baby girl back in October 2022, sharing a piece of cake filled with pink frosting to Cuoco's Instagram.
Fast forward to March, where the Big Bang Theory actress announced, "Introducing, Matilda Carmine Richie Pelphrey, the new light of our lives! We are overjoyed and grateful for this little miracle ?? Thank you to the doctors, nurses, family and friends who have helped us immensely over the last few days. We are blessed beyond belief.
She signed off the message with a loving note to her beau, writing, "@tommypelphrey didn’t think I could fall even more in love with you , but I did."
