Kanye West's Wife Bianca Censori Inspires Rapper's Latest Business Venture

Bianca Censori appears to be the source of inspiration for Kanye West’s newest business plans.
West, 46, filed nine new trademark applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) last week, according to The Daily Mail. The applications were all filed through the rapper’s Los Angeles-based Ox Paha, Inc., corporation.
Each application was filed under the phrase, “I MISS YOU WHEN I WAKE UP BEFORE YOU,” an apparent reference to a phrase West used while posting an image of Censori, 29, on Instagram earlier this month.
West is requesting the trademarks for a wide array of items, according to Parade’s review of the documents available through the USPTO’s website. Some cover clothing, “semi-precious stones” and toys; others are for musical and audio-visual recordings, moisturizers, education and training. Another trademark would cover computer software, home design help and even “biological cloning.”
Gregory Nelson, the attorney whose name appears on the trademark applications, confirmed to The Daily Mail that he filed the trademark requests for West’s corporation. As of Wednesday afternoon, the USPTO website showed that all nine trademark requests had met the initial filing requirements but were still waiting for the office to assign examiners to the applications.
West posted the phrase in question as part of a slew of photos—many of which were risqué—in celebration of Censori’s birthday. In one post, he credited his wife of one year as “the most beautiful super bad fun iconic muse inspirational talented artist masters degree in architecture 140 IQ” and “the most amazing step mom to our children.”
“I love you so much thank you for sharing your life with me,” West added to the birthday post.
West and Censori married in early 2023, about two years after West's ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, filed for divorce from the “Gold Digger” rapper. West and Kardashian were married for nearly seven years before their split and share four children.
