The Kardashian’s Christmas Eve card is here and it’s missing someone

Every year around this time, something magical happens. No, we’re not talking about the glow of the Rockefeller Christmas tree. Or the joy you get from opening presents from loved ones. And not even the 25 Days of Christmas movie marathon on Freeform. We’re talking about the annual Kardashian Kristmas Kard. And today, Christmas Eve, we have a new Kardashian Christmas card, but where’s Kylie?

Every Christmas, the Kardashian-Jenners go all out in their celebration of the holiday. And as their family has grown, the cards have grown increasingly fun and dramatic. One highlight is 2013’s card, shot by noted photographer David LaChapelle, which features the whole clan in a glam Vegas-y setting. It truly captures the feeling of the holidays!

This year, the Kardashians did something different. The reality TV star and entrepreneur has been posting a new Christmas photo every day in December. All photos look like they’re a GAP ad — every member in the family is wearing a simple white tee and blue jeans. And every single card features a different combination of Kardashians. For example, day 21 featured the Wests, including Kanye, Kim, North, and Saint. Further, day 14 features Kourtney and her children Mason and Reign. It’s all very sweet and wholesome.

Today, aka Christmas Eve, Kim posted the latest Christmas card. This one ostensibly features the female Kardashian-Jenners and their children. You’ve got Kim, North, Saint, Kris, Kris’ mother Mary Jo Campbell, Khloe holding Dream, Kortney, Mason, Penelope, and Kendall.

But there’s a lot to unpack here.

For one, there are a few women and children missing from this photo: Blac Chyna, Caitlyn Jenner, and Kourtney’s son Reign. But the most notable absence is that of one Kylie Jenner. Kylie has not been in any of Kim’s Christmas photos yet, and suspicion is rampant.

Though we now have a confirmed pregnancy from Khloe, we still haven’t officially heard anything from the Kardashian-Jenner camp about Kylie. All this would lead one to believe that maybe Kim is saving the full family portrait for Christmas Day.

Meanwhile, we have other lingering questions. Why does it look like Kendall Jenner was photoshopped into the picture? Also, why does Kim look so serious?

Maybe we’ll find out the answers eventually…but only when the Kardashians and Jenners are ready for us to know.
