Kate Beckinsale goes from seductress to sweetie pie with a quick outfit change
Kate Beckinsale is set to play a seductive mistress in the upcoming film The Only Living Boy in New York, and she’s already dressing the part. The actress has been making her rounds doing press in Los Angeles and New York City in the past few days, looking seamlessly stylish in an array of wardrobe choices — including five different outfits in the past 24 hours alone.
Monday kicked off the series of quick changes, when the 44-year-old stepped out in midtown Manhattan wearing a sleeveless black jumpsuit that featured see-through paneling down the sides of her torso and a plunging neckline.
The daytime look seemingly foreshadowed what was to come at the premiere that evening, where the actress stunned in a black gown from Reem Acra with more sheer paneling and a bustier.
But the night didn’t end there. Beckinsale switched into a second showstopping number: a pink ombre tulle dress and no shortage of va-va-voom volume. It was her most standout look of the tour thus far.
Beckinsale then started her Tuesday morning with a sleeker look, going for an all-white flare jumpsuit with black details, including cats-eye sunglasses, a tie around her neck, all the way down to her shoes and even the color on her nails.
Summer white continued to be a theme for the day as she switched out of her press pants and into a pretty strapless dress with metallic blue and pink floral embroidery. She matched her shoes to the piece with a bubblegum pair of high heels.
The 44-year-old’s style has been consistent throughout her appearances, with a muted palette and lots of tulle going back to two of her live shows in Los Angeles. In early August, the actress made her way to Jimmy Kimmel Live in an all-black ensemble featuring leather pants and a peplum top with puffy sleeves.
She then changed into another confection from the same material.

Beckinsale wore the first dress of the tour on The Late Late Show With James Corden, which featured all of her recent fashion favorites — black, lace bodice, and of course, some tulle.
