Kate Beckinsale’s Message to Her Daughter Will Make You Swoon

Proud parents often share images of special moments in their teenagers’ lives — and celebrities are no exception.

Actress Kate Beckinsale shared a sweet photo on Mother’s Day of her lookalike daughter, 18-year-old Lily Mo Sheen, headed to her prom — also attaching an adoring message to the post.

“You take my breath away @lily_beckinsale #prom you’re funny and clever and gorgeous and just enough crazy to be my favourite person in world. My Fallopian tube is like BITE ME I KILLED THIS,” she captioned a shot of Lily posing in a strapless red dress.

Beckinsale’s followers couldn’t get over the resemblance between the actress and her teenage daughter.

“Goodness, she looks just like her stunning mother,” one user commented. “She looks exactly like both you and her dad! It’s crazy! Very beautiful,” another user added, referring to Lily’s father, actor Michael Sheen. Lily was even touched by the post, commenting, “Awwwwwww u loves me.”

The teenager is often featured on Kate’s Instagram account, as her mother loves to document important moments in her life. In December 2016, Beckinsale shared a post to celebrate Lily’s college acceptance.

“The appropriate fatherly response when you find out your girl got into college: burst into tears, drop everything, rush over and pick up everyone even remotely involved. @lily_beckinsale, we are so unbelievably proud of you. Fly fly fly,” she wrote alongside a collage of the family embracing.

The two appear to have a very close relationship.
