Kate Hudson Just Shared A Photo Showing How Much Weight She’s Lost On WW
Kate Hudson shared on Instagram that she's almost at her goal weight on WW (formerly known as Weight Watchers).
Kate, 39, became a WW ambassador in December 2018, after giving birth to her daughter, Rani Rose, in October.
Kate's goal when she started WW was to lose 25 pounds by spring.
When Kate Hudson revealed she signed on as a Weight Watchers (now rebranded as WW) celeb ambassador, her followers knew they'd be in for tons of workout inspiration, healthy recipes, and goal updates.
Kate's WW goal after giving birth to her third child Rani Rose in October? To lose 25 pounds by spring-and it looks like she's nearly there, according to a new Instagram post.
The photo shows Kate, 39, in some of her super-cute Fabletics gear (she's also showing off her super-toned abs)-and with good reason: "Okay my friends, wanted to share! I’m a couple lbs from goal weight," she wrote. “I’ve done it without stressing on food or working out like crazy although I have been disciplined."
Kate then started to sing the praises of WW: "I’ve taken my time, I’ve stayed true to my @ww app which I am so grateful for our relationship and that they included me in their family because it’s an incredible set up. Easy as pie! And I can eat pie... except it’s anywhere from 9-22 points which is not the best move." (FYI: She added that she absolutely goes for "the 5 point wine or vodka martini for a treat." Same, girl.)
Above all, Kate said she feels really grateful. “I feel lucky that my other work life (when my entrepreneur hat is on) is surrounded by the most inspiring people,” she wrote. “To every single person in the @fabletics community and every person in the @ww community, you keep me focused and encouraged. I thank you!”
She also kinda-sorta addressed the people who criticized WW’s choice to make her a celebrity ambassador. (Kate got some backlash after WW made her an ambassador, and she’s addressed the criticism head-on. "My struggle is not in weight loss," she said on TODAY in January. "Mine is about staying healthy, trying to stay focused and balanced.")
“Yes, active lifestyle I find enjoyable and yes, understanding food is a passion of mine, but it doesn’t mean that I don’t need the support like everyone else,” she wrote in her new Instagram post. “Sharing the little parts of my wellness journey with you makes me feel oh so good. I can only hope that what I put out there can make you feel good and bring encouragement in return.”
As far as her WW weight-loss journey goes, well, it's still in progress: " PS I ain’t done yet," she wrote. Keep those WW updates coming, Kate!
