Kate Hudson joined Jessica Alba on her Youtube beauty vlog to try out skincare products and chat about life.
One of her favorite products was the Honest Hydrogel cream and it’s formulated with a bunch of good-for-you hydrating skincare ingredients.
“This is really interesting... that’s wild,” said Hudson while applying the facial moisturizer all over her face.
Celebrities are some of the best people to turn to for inspiration when it comes to skincare. They have access to the world’s top dermatologists and are always using the best products to keep their complexions looking healthy and radiant.
The best part for us, though, is when they reveal the products they love using, and one of our favorite celebs, Kate Hudson, just added a new facial cream to her list of finds. It’s the Honest Hydrogel cream and it’s available to buy on Amazon.
Hudson made an appearance in a recent glam session for Jessica Alba’s Youtube channel, where the two tried out skincare products from the Honest brand (founded by Alba) and chatted about life while doing their beauty routines.
During the video, Hudson applied the facial moisturizer and was immediately shocked by its formula. “This is really interesting,” said Hudson as she rubbed the cream all over her face. Alba then explained that she could “feel the water breaking on her face,” which Hudson said “that’s wild,” in response to Alba.
The Honest Hydrogel cream is designed to hydrate, refresh, and cool the skin without feeling too heavy when applied. Its formula is infused with many good-for-you skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid, squalene, and jojoba esters.
“It’s over 70% water and it instantly makes you look hydrated, plump, and awake,” said Alba.
The secret to its refreshing and hydrating boost is the two different types of hyaluronic acid in the formula. But, both types are crafted to help bind and retain moisture in different layers of the skin, according to the brand.
“Hyaluronic acid is commonly used as an ingredient in moisturizers because of its hydration benefits, and can even help plump the skin to improve the appearance of fine lines,” said Joshua Zeichner, M.D., director of cosmetic and clinical research in dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, said in a previous interview with Prevention.
And the moisturizer can be added to both your a.m. and p.m. routines—which helps you save space on your beauty counter! Plus, it’s great for all skin types—and it’s under $20.
Amazon customers love the face cream as well, giving it over 2,900 5-star global ratings.
“I’m all about safer-for-you ingredients, and this beautiful blend of ingredients in this cream creates a silky, fluffy, and rich texture,” wrote one satisfied customer. “It absorbs perfectly—feels like my skin is drinking it up instead of leaving behind greasiness. I’ve been using it on my face and neck for several months and I’m constantly told my skin is glowing and that I look well-rested (and I can assure you I am not well-rested).”
“It gives me hydration and a glow that lasts all day and night but doesn’t break my skin out,” added another reviewer. “It even fills in my fine lines and plumps them. It absorbs into my skin and preps it perfectly for makeup. This moisturizer is truly a game-changer!”
With approval from Hudson, Alba, and reviewers, there’s only one thing you need to do—add the top-rated facial moisturizer to your cart and then check out some of the other Honest skincare picks Hudson enjoyed using.
