Kate Middleton Dressed Casually in a Dubarry Jacket and Green Pants for Her King Henry’s Walk Community Garden Visit
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry started the week for the Fab Four with their visit to Birkenhead yesterday. Today, Kate Middleton continues the event momentum with her arrival at King Henry’s Walk Community Garden in Islington. The Duchess of Cambridge dressed casually for her visit, wearing a green Dubarry jacket and matching pants about outfit.
As the Palace tweeted last week, while Kate is meeting with volunteers at the garden "to hear how the project brings people together through gardening and food growing." This is Kate's first solo engagement of the year but not her only this week. Kate will be back out on Wednesday night when she visits the Costume Department at the Royal Opera House.
Kate has been seen out once before in 2019. She and Prince William were photographed going to church in Sandringham ahead of her birthday during the first weekend of January. Kate wore a blue Catherine Walker jacket and headband for the occasion.
Kate's engagement today comes after the Duchess of Cambridge made headlines for her multiple 37th birthday celebrations. Kate was reported to have had a private party for her closest friends in her and Prince William's Anmer Hall home in Sandringham estate ahead of her birthday. On her actual birthday, Kate is reported to have celebrated at Kensington Palace with a tea party for her and her children.
A source told Vanity Fair then that “Kate’s not into big birthday celebrations, but George and Charlotte adore birthday cake, so there will be a special tea party at the Palace with candles and presents."
