Kate Middleton Just Wore the Chicest Matching Tennis Skirt and Jacket Set
It's rare for Kate Middleton to be wearing anything but her royal style signatures (shift dresses, statement coats, bouncy blowouts), but when she does, it's always a welcome change. Case in point? On Friday, the Duchess of Cambridge stepped out on the tennis court at the National Tennis Centre in London to play alongside US Open winner Emma Raducanu in the chicest matching set.
Dressed appropriately sporty, Kate paired a navy blue tennis skirt with white pleats in the front with a coordinating jacket by the French sportswear brand Poivre Blanc. She wore a tank top in a lighter shade of blue underneath, and accessorized with her sapphire engagement ring, white sneakers, and a high ponytail.

In honor of the British US Open champions, the Lawn Tennis Association (which Kate is a patron of) is hosting a special homecoming event to celebrate their success. Sitting down to chat with the winners — which included Raducanu, Joe Salisbury, Gordon Reid and Alfie Hewett — Kate gushed, "Amazing guys, honestly. Congratulations. Seriously impressive. It's been so nice for all of you to come back here in your home country to celebrate back home."

Turns out, the duchess isn't so bad herself. Following their match, Raducanu told reporters that "her forehand is incredible."
Kate sweetly shared a photo from her outing on Instagram, writing: "In the presence of champions ??."
