Kate Middleton Wore a Bright Green Eponine London Dress and Ankle Boots for Her School Visits
Kate Middleton just begun her engagements for her patronage Place2Be’s Children's Mental Health Week this morning in Enfield Town. The Duchess of Cambridge will be making two school visits today and arrived at her first one, Lavender Primary School. Kate is wearing a bright green, spring-ready Eponine London dress with black tights and ankle boots for the occasion.
At both schools she visits, Kate "will find out more about the support offered to students, teachers and parents to help with mental wellbeing," the Palace tweeted out ahead of her events. From Lavender Primary School, Kate will travel 15 miles to Alperton Community School in Wembley "to meet the UK’s first winner of the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize, Andria Zafirakou, and find out more about the programs the school runs to support both students and teachers with their mental wellbeing," the Palace wrote.
The Duchess of Cambridge last went out a week ago for an engagement with Prince William in Dundee, Scotland. Kate and William officially opened the V&A Museum location there in their first joint event of the year so far. For that event, Kate re-wore her Alexander McQueen tartan dress coat that she first debuted in 2012.
Kate also did her first walkabout for the year, greeting members of the public at the Dundee event. She made headlines when she divulged to some that her youngest son Prince Louis was a "fast crawler." Kate rarely talks about her children at events, making the admission exceptional.
The Duchess of Cambridge's next event is already announced, by the way. Kate will attend the 100 Women in Finance's Gala next Wednesday at the V&A Museum's London location, which will support Heads Together's Mentally Healthy Schools program.
