Kate Middleton And Prince William Are 'Delaying' Their Vacation To Avoid Meghan And Harry
Kate Middleton and Prince William have reportedly delayed their trip to visit the queen at Balmoral Castle to avoid seeing Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Kate and William were “irked” by Harry’s comments about having only two children to save the environment.
Attention, royal feud conspiracy theorists: Despite there being plenty of evidence that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry get along just fine with Prince William and Kate Middleton (see: Polo Match 2019), there’s a new report from the Daily Mail’s veteran royal expert Robert Jobson that, er, says otherwise.
Of course, only the Cambridges, the Sussexes, and several well-placed corgis know what’s really going down behind the scenes at Buckingham Palace (or in this case, Balmoral Castle), but according to Jobson, Kate and William are out here delaying their trip to visit the queen and Prince Philip in Scotland in order to avoid overlapping with Meghan and Harry. Honestly, not even Her Majesty’s afternoon tea is this piping.
According to Jobson, “It is understood William and his wife Kate may delay their trip until Harry and Meghan have returned to Windsor.” The reason? Because, as you might recall, Prince Harry made a comment about having two children “maximum” to save the environment. Which “may well have irked the Cambridges, who already have three.”
Awk!
The Daily Mail also reports that the Cambridges are slightly eye-roll-y at Meghan saying it would have been “boastful” to appear on the cover of Vogue, considering that Kate was literally the magazine’s cover a few years ago.
Again, awk!
