Kate Middleton pulls pints in Belfast while wearing a $2,480 Missoni dress
Kate Middleton and Prince William’s trip to Belfast took a spirited turn when the royals got behind the bar at Empire Music Hall on Wednesday night.
The couple were at a party at the iconic venue, where they met young people who are making a real difference in Northern Ireland. The event also gave them the opportunity to pull some pints.
Prince William appeared to take the challenge seriously, tilting the pint glass and watching the tap intently before exclaiming, “Look at that bad boy!” as he admired his work.
“Perfect — good enough for an advert,” he quipped.
Kate laughed as she took her turn, while her husband teased her.
The duchess looked flawless in a $2,480 mint green lamé dress by Missoni with a crossover neckline and a pleated skirt. The high-end Italian fashion house is renowned for its colorful knitwear designs, and the duchess has sported coats from its collection previously.
The mom of three teamed it with her classic taupe accessories: her Mulberry Bayswater clutch bag and her Gianvito Rossi pumps in the praline colorway. She accessorized with new jewelry from Kiki McDonough’s Candy collection.
Prince William wore a navy suit with a white shirt.
Kate and William arrived in Belfast on Wednesday afternoon for an unannounced two-day visit. Their first stop was at Windsor Park soccer stadium, where they learned about the Irish Football Association’s programs to encourage youngsters to get into sports.
The Cambridges went head-to-head during a soccer match, with William jokingly warning his teammates that his wife “goes for the ankles.”
