Kate Middleton Shot Prince Louis's Adorable New Birthday Portraits

Kate Middleton has never been shy about her fondness for photography — many of the royal photos released by Kensington Palace are shot by none other than the Duchess of Cambridge — and her latest set of royal photos may just be the cutest ones yet. In honor of Prince Louis's second birthday, Kensington Palace released a set of five new snapshots and, naturally, the kid looks adorable. On top of that, however, is Louis's sweet tribute to the NHS.

In the photos, which were taken three months ago, Louis is showing off rainbow-painted hands, a result of his artistic talents. People explains that the prince was working on rainbow-colored paintings to support the National Health Service and all the workers that are fighting the pandemic on the front lines. It was all part of a stay-at-home activity that also included his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

"Sharing a sneak peek of Prince Louis’s handiwork ahead of his second birthday!" the palace wrote. "We are pleased to share images ahead of Prince Louis’s second birthday tomorrow, taken by The Duchess this April."

The Cambridges are currently isolating at Anmer Hall, their country home in Norfolk. It's hard to believe that the young prince is turning two and royal fans will remember that just last year, Kate shot portraits of his first two teeth. More recently, the Cambridges gave us a peek at the family during another tribute to the NHS when they were seen clapping in appreciation of healthcare workers.
