Kate Middleton Smiles in Cozy Fair Isle Sweater in Never-Before-Seen Photo
Following Kate Middleton's cancer diagnosis, well wishes from around the UK and the world have poured in for the Princess of Wales.
On Instagram, Martin Kemp—an English musician, actor, and father of radio host Roman Kemp—shared a never-before-seen photo of Kate, writing, "Sending so much Kemp love to the Princess of Wales and all her Family."
In the snap, Kate wears a Fairisle Knit sweater designed by Holland Cooper and a LK Bennet Darwin jacket. The photo of the Princess was taken last February, when Kate met with Roman Kemp at Kensington Palace for her "Shaping Us" campaign. The two filmed a short video, where they discussed the importance of mental health, and nurturing children in their early years. You can watch here:
On Friday, the Princess shared her cancer diagnosis with the world (though she will not be sharing what type of cancer she has). "It has been an incredibly tough couple of months for our entire family, but I've had a fantastic medical team who have taken great care of me, for which I am so grateful," Kate said in a video. She added, "My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full recovery."
A day after the news was public, a Kensington Palace spokesperson said this past weekend "The Prince and Princess are both enormously touched by the kind messages from people here in the UK, across the Commonwealth and around the world in response to Her Royal Highness' message. They are extremely moved by the public's warmth and support and are grateful for the understanding of their request for privacy at this time."
