The Duchess of Cambridge opted for a casual-chic ensemble at London's Natural History Museum.
For her latest royal engagement, Duchess Kate wore a salmon-hued, cargo-inspired blazer by Chloé paired with straight leg denim jeans, a white top by Ralph Lauren, and matching leather sneakers courtesy of the sustainable Spanish brand, Veja. Kate accessorized the look with a dainty gold necklace by designer Daniella Draper and delicate gold hoop earrings.
The duchess, who is a royal patron of the Natural History Museum, paid a visit on Tuesday to learn more about how communities across the U.K. will utilize and benefits the museum's new Urban Nature Project, being launched later this year.
The Urban Nature Project is set to help people reconnect with the natural world, promote sustainability, and urge society to find practical solutions to protect the planet's future. The project is partnering with other museums and multiple wildlife organizations across the U.K. in hopes to inform the nation of the importance of conserving nature in local communities.
The upcoming initiative will also include a brand-new research center complete with outdoor classrooms and a "living lab" for young people, students, and families across the country to learn and interact in. During her visit, Kate also viewed the museum's wildlife garden where she joined local students in activities such as spider-making and a story-telling exercise.
The Duchess of Cambridge's museum visit follows her announcement last week that she would be opening The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood—a new hub part of her and Prince William's charitable endeavors that will help push for increased awareness of and new research into the impact of children's early years.
