Kate Middleton’s New Stylist Has Some Seriously Impressive Credentials (Hint: She Worked at ‘Vogue’)

If you’ve been keeping up with Kate Middleton (as we all have) for the past few weeks, you may have noticed some small yet bold changes in her day-to-day style. Exhibit A: this sparkling dress she sported at a music hall in Belfast on February 27. The Duchess isn’t making these style choices on her own, though. She has her new stylist, former British Vogue editor Virginia Chadwyck-Healey, to thank.

Virginia (or, “Ginnie,” according to her Instagram) is replacing Kate’s former stylist, Natasha Archer, while she’s on maternity leave. Middleton and Chadwyck-Healey have been friends for quite some time. They both attended St. Andrew’s University to study art history and the pair both met their husbands, Prince William and Oliver Chadwyck-Healey, at university as well. (Ummm, hello...friendship goals.)

After graduating, Chadwyck-Healey worked as an editor at British Vogue for 12 years. Yup, pretty impressive.

“She has made a big difference to the Duchess’s wardrobe for public engagements and has helped give her a whole new sense of confidence,” a royal source told Daily Mail. “Ginnie is Catherine's secret weapon.”

The 36-year-old former editor is certainly no stranger to dressing herself for royal events. She and her husband both attended the royal wedding in 2011, and according to Inquisitr, Ginnie even found herself being named as one of the best-dressed guests of the ceremony by various fashion editors. NBD.

We don’t know exactly how long she will be covering for Archer, but it looks to us as though Kate is in good hands.
