Kate Middleton Walks Outside of Kensington Palace, Shocks Bystanders
Kate Middleton was not on royal duty yesterday and left the Kensington Palace grounds like anyone else living their life. But because this is the Duchess of Cambridge, her walking around London and Kensington Gardens gave some bystanders a real shock and thrill. Multiple people shared accounts of seeing her on Twitter, per Hello!.
"In London for 8 hours, walking through Kensington Gardens and who walks past me?! Only Kate Middleton pushing Charlotte in her pushchair with George on his little push-bike," one witness wrote on Twitter.
"I just passed Kate Middleton but couldn’t freak out about passing a princess," another wrote on the platform.
"So awkwardly walking up to Kensington Palace not knowing if we should be here, we walk past Kate Middleton," a third said on Twitter, via Hello!.
Kate making appearances in public isn't unprecedented. The Duchess has been seen in Kensington Gardens with her children multiple times. On Valentine's Day this year, Kate was last spotted in Kensington Gardens pushing her youngest son Prince Louis in a stroller. One witness even shared photos on social media.
According to Hello!, Kate was said to be "in a great mood during the walk. [She] politely smiled at people who recognized her."
When is Kate due out next for a royal event? In just a couple days. The Duchess of Cambridge will visit UK Scouting at Gilwell Park next Thursday "to learn more about the organization’s new pilot to bring Scouting to younger children," the Palace announced. "The visit to Gilwell Park will also celebrate the site’s 100th anniversary year."
