Kate Middleton Wears Pink to the Queen’s Pre-Christmas Lunch
Kate Middleton and Prince William have just arrived at one of the Royal Family's first events of the holiday: the Queen's pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace for the family. While the event is private and closed to photographers, photos have been taken of Kate and William arriving at Queen Elizabeth II's London residence. For this year's luncheon, Kate appears to be wearing a pink outfit.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will also be joining them along with the rest of the royal family. It marks the family's final big event in London before they all leave for Sandringham to spend Christmas with the Queen. They will all make an appearance for Christmas morning service in Norfolk next.
Last year, Kate appeared to wear a black dress to the occasion.
Princess Charlotte and Prince George joined them too in one of their rare occasions photographed out:
Kate has had a pretty festive month of royal engagements. She started December by hosting a Christmas party at Kensington Palace for RAF families with William. There, she wore a red and green Emilia Wickstead skirt, one of her most holiday-ready pieces of the season.
She also did holiday engagements in Cyprus (where she wore a green Smythe jacket that William joked made her blend in with the Christmas tree next to her) and at Evelina London Children's Hospital, her new patronage, and at the Passage, a homeless resource center. For that event last week, she had on a green polka dot LK Bennett dress.
