Kate Middleton's latest holiday look is a $645 polka-dot dress in hunter green
Hours after Meghan Markle wrapped her baby bump in black velvet Givenchy for Monday’s British Fashion Awards, her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, opted for a luxe look of her own.
The royal joined husband Prince William Tuesday for a visit to the Evelina London Children’s Hospital, where she has just been named patron. According to Kensington Palace, her new role “provides an opportunity to champion the medical professionals working on the front-line in children’s healthcare, and shine a light on their work supporting children in their early years.”
The duchess made a strong first impression with her chic attire, hitting the right note for the holiday season in a Christmas-tree-green dress with cream polka dots. Retailing for $645, L.K. Bennett’s Mortimer Green Dotted Silk Dress also features pearl buttons and a pussy-bow neckline.
Her khaki suede heels and matching clutch also hail from the British fashion brand, which also sells the Mortimer dress in navy.
But only hunter green would do for Kate, who has been embracing the holidays with her wardrobe. Case in point: The festive yet fashionable red, black, and white tartan skirt she wore last week for a public appearance. Dare we hold out hope for an ugly Christmas sweater in the days ahead?
