Katie Couric Gives FOMO With 'Fabulous' Footage From Trip to Amsterdam
As summer approaches, celebrities are taking some time off for some rest and relaxation abroad. Katie Couric is the latest to do so, taking a dreamy trip to Amsterdam.
The reporter shared a montage of her travels in an Instagram Reel, showing the breathtaking views, delicious-looking meals (including "really good" gooey, fresh-baked chocolate cookies!), and museum visits during her trip to Amsterdam with husband John Molner and his family.
"Molner and I just returned from a fabulous trip to Amsterdam and we had the chance to spend some much needed time with my in-laws, Paula and Herb, and my brother-in-law, Tom and his partner Andy," she wrote in the caption.
It continued, "One of my favorite things about traveling is that I get to share my experience with all of YOU along the way! From the gorgeous canals and charming architecture to the blooming tulips and exquisite Vermeer paintings, Amsterdam was full of beauty and culture."
Couric also noted that she'd share her full trip itinerary and details in her Wake-Up Call newsletter so fans can see her list of recommendations "for an A+ trip to the Netherlands."
ABC's Deborah Roberts remarked that the photos and videos from the vacation looked "Dreamy!" Richard Marx agreed Amsterdam is a charming city, writing, "Amsterdam is the bomb. We love it there!"
Her fans also gushed over how fantastic the trip looked.
"It looks like the perfect trip with great company! BTW that pancake looks amazing," read a comment, while another took the recommendation from the video for a yummy treat, writing, "There now and went to Winkel Cafe for Apple cake based on comments!! OMG!"
A fan recognized the mouth-watering cookie from the reel, writing, "Aw my old hood! Van Staepel is the best cookie evah!"
Other fans were just happy to see Couric having fun with her extended family. "Thank you for sharing your wonderful trip. How lucky John has healthy happy parents and you, in-laws that you love. I hope you all can take many more fun trips together," remarked a fan.
