Katy Perry Was Reportedly ‘Shaking With Happiness’ When Orlando Bloom Proposed

In true romantic fashion, Bloom popped the question on Valentine's Day, and two days later more and more details about the proposal hear 'round the world are coming out. According to a report from People, Bloom has been planning to propose to Perry for quite some time now.
“Orlando had planned this for a while,” a source close to the couple told the outlet. “He wanted it all to be special.” The source also added that Bloom asked Perry's more religious and traditional parents for their permission before popping the question. “Katy’s family knew he was proposing. He talked to her parents about it before.”
The source continued, “Katy was very surprised and shaking with happiness...They both want kids together and will prioritize this.”
Perry and Bloom have been dating on and off for about three years now. They were first linked together in January 2016 when they were spotted flirting at a Golden Globes after-party, and became Instagram-official shortly after in May 2016.
The two remained exclusive and together until March 2017 when reports of a split began to surface. The two remained civil and got back together officially in February 2018. Prior to Perry, Bloom was married to Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr. The ex-couple shares one child together, Flynn, age 8. Perry reportedly has a great relationship with both Flynn and Bloom's ex Kerr, as both were in attendance at Perry's birthday party back in October.
