Katy Perry Has Some Thoughts About Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's Romance

There's no lingering bad blood between Taylor Swift and her former nemesis, Katy Perry. In fact, the "Firework" singer is rooting for Swift and her budding romance with NFL player Travis Kelce.
On Oct. 14, the pop star and Kansas City Chiefs tight end were photographed on their way to a Saturday Night Live after-party. (Kelce made a surprise cameo in an SNL skit poking fun at the media attention surrounding their relationship, while Swift introduced her pal, Ice Spice, who was the musical guest.)

That same night, Vogue magazine shared photos via Instagram of Swift and Kelce hand-in-hand. The publication praised their "fashion-forward looks" and declared a "hard launch" of their coupledom.
However, eagle-eyed Swifties were likely drawn to the top comment in the post, which was from Perry.
"I ship," she wrote, approving of the pairing.
Judging by the more than 22,000 likes, plenty of folks agreed with the "I Kissed a Girl" singer.
One Instagram user replied, "We all do," alongside a heart-eyed and shushing emojis.
Meanwhile, someone else commented, "Is it just me or is lipstick smeared," referencing Swift's slightly-less-than-perfect signature red lips.
Perry's display of public support for Swift and her new beau certainly solidifies their friendship status. In 2014, the pop stars experienced a rift involving backup dancers before reconciling in 2019. It has long been speculated that Swift's song, "Bad Blood" was written about Perry, while Perry's track, "Swish Swish" was written about Swift. Fans of both artists are likely reassured that all is well between them.
Perry isn't the only celebrity to share their two cents about Kelce and Swift's pairing.
Olivia Wilde reposted a tweet from Dutch actress Katja Herbers on her Instagram Story that read, "I wish Taylor Swift was in love with a climate scientist."
Later, Wilde clarified to the Daily Mail that she "meant no harm," by the post. She explained, “It’s obviously a comment on how much attention gets paid to stupid things.”
