Keke Palmer Subtly Matched Her Bikini To Her Side Tattoo, But I Keep Staring At Her Abs

From Women's Health

  • Keke Palmer showed off her abs and tattoo in two new bikini Instagram photos.

  • Her favorite exercises are abs and thighs, especially side planks with hip dips.

  • The Hustlers star also shared her healthy eating routine, which is all about lean protein and fruits and veggies.

In a new Instagram post, Keke Palmer, 26, showed off her amazing abs and floral tattoo, which covers her entire side in two new bikini Instagrams. The actress, singer, and Good Morning America co-host has been keeping busy these past few months by releasing singles, like the aptly titled "Snack" and, if her Insta caption is to be believed, getting bitten by mosquitos.

"Mosquitos on my ass love. #ConfessionsOfASweetChick," the Hustlers star wrote alongside two photos of herself posing in a pink floral bikini that subtly matched her ink.

So, how does Keke get her sweet, I mean, sweat on? Fitness plays a huge role in her lifestyle, since for her, physical health is closely related to mental health. "Working out and staying in shape first became important to me because of my aspiration to become the female Will Smith—but then I started to realize how it also shifted my thought process and made me feel more in control of my life," she told Shape in 2017.

Keke told the publication that she loves abs exercises and thigh workouts, citing side planks with hip dips as a bodyweight exercise that makes her feel invincible. "I find the more muscle I have, the more manageable maintaining my weight becomes," she added. "My workout routine fluctuates in intensity depending on the project. Right now it is pretty simple: cardio with light bodyweight training."

Keke also told Shape that she usually eats eggs and an apple for breakfast, plus peanut butter as a mid-morning snack. "Lunch is a salad with about four ounces of chicken, followed by second snack later—usually veggies and nuts," she said. "Dinner is fish and a salad with an evening snack of fruit."

As for her tattoo, she got the ink while traveling in Budapest during September 2018, building off a previous tattoo, which was a butterfly and a sunflower. "Eight hours of pure pain. The first 5/6hrs I was completely fineeee. Handling the pain perfectly well … then IT BECAME WAYYY TO REPETITIVE," she wrote on Instagram.
