US singer-songwriter Kelis has been unveiled as The Masked Singer’s Daisy.

The 40-year-old was unmasked on the ITV singing show - which sees celebrities perform with their identities disguised - after judges Davina McCall, Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross and Donny Osmond chose to save Monster.

She lifted off her huge mask to excited chants of “Take it off” from the crowd.

Ora was thrilled because she had rightly guessed that Kelis might be hiding under Daisy’s petals.

“I was the first person to get it right out of all the panellists!” she cried.

“You have the most iconic music videos and I just love you,” she told the star.

Kelis said she signed up for the programme because people had always told her that her voice was distinctive.

“I was like, let’s see how distinct it is,” she said.
