Kelly Clarkson Begs for Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick's Relationship Secret

The couple have a major milestone anniversary coming up this year!

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick have got that something special, and Kelly Clarkson is dying to know what it is.

In a preview of today's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, airing at 3 p.m. EST on NBC, your favorite celebrity couple is opening up about the key to their longevity.

The pair were married on Sept. 4, 1988, meaning this fall will mark their 35th wedding anniversary—not an easy feat for many to achieve!

"That's incredible!" Clarkson emphatically congratulates them in the beginning of the clip. "I'm just saying, it doesn't always happen, especially for people in the business; especially for two artists."

She continues, "That's incredible. Like, let me know what your secret is—maybe I'll use it next time!"

Clarkson recently made it explicitly clear that her split with ex-husband-of-seven-years Brandon Blackstock has not been going well, so it's no wonder she may be intrigued, but the pair just laugh lightly and assure her, "We have no secrets."

Bacon and Sedgwick met on the set of Lemon Sky in 1987, where he claims to have fallen in love instantly. She, on the other hand, was a little put off by the big head his rush of Footloose fame gave him and took a little convincing, but it wasn't long before she knew he was the one.

Today, the two share son Travis, 33, and daughter Sosie, 31. Their life together is so full that Bacon reveals, "New Year's is, you know, supposed to be the start of the year, but it never feels like the start of the year for me. September feels like when the year starts. It's hopeful."

Naturally, the audience had nothing but "awws" for his sweet words, which he swears he "wasn't trying to elicit."
