Kelly Clarkson Blows Fans Away With Performance of New Heartbreak Anthem

The pop singer debuted one of her new songs on 'The Kelly Clarkson Show.'

Kelly Clarkson is honoring her full range of feelings with her upcoming album.

On the April 18 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Voice coach took the stage to debut one of her newest tracks, "Mine," with an emotional "Kellyoke" performance for her live audience.

"Someone's gonna show you how a heart can be used, like you did mine," she sang in part. The previously-teased heartbreak anthem officially dropped on Friday, April 14.

In the comments of the video from her broadcast, which was uploaded to YouTube, fans appreciated her vulnerability and, as always, applauded her powerhouse vocals.

"What a well written song and Kelly as a storyteller, I felt the message and her emotion where is she coming from, great performance from the backup vocals, so impressive as the band too," one said, as another gushed, "How does she sound even better than the record? QUEEN KELLY."

A third emphasized: "THIS IS MY FAVORITE PERFORMANCE THAT SHE HAS EVER DONE! IT WAS PHENOMENAL! I COULD FEEL EVERY WORD!"

The 40-year-old has recently started to open up more about her divorce from ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, whom she officially split from in June 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage. The two share daughter River Rose, 8, and son Remington "Remy" Alexander, 7, whom they continue to coparent.

"I was feeling all the feelings when I wrote that one," the "Since U Been Gone" artist admitted after the musical presentation, adding that the song was "a different vibe" for her overall.

Clarkson's upcoming album Chemistry is set to release June 23, 2023. Watch the full exclusive debut performance below.
